Our Story

Built by feds,
for feds.

FedSage exists because federal retirement is genuinely complex โ€” and the tools available to navigate it have never matched the stakes.

Clarity. Confidence. Cash Flow.

Federal employees spend decades in public service, building benefits that are among the most valuable in the American workforce โ€” yet most arrive within a few years of retirement without a clear picture of what their financial life will actually look like on day one of retirement.

FedSage was built to change that. We combine the accuracy of actuarial math, the specificity of federal retirement rules โ€” FERS, CSRS, TSP, FEHB, Social Security โ€” and the clarity of AI-generated plain-language guidance in one place. No spreadsheets. No expensive advisors. No generic calculators that don't understand what a FERS supplement is.

Our goal is simple: every federal employee should be able to answer the question "Am I going to be okay?" โ€” with their specific numbers, in plain language, with a clear action plan.

Why we built this

FedSage was founded by a small team of federal employees who lived the frustration firsthand. After years in federal service, sitting through benefits orientations that raised more questions than they answered, and watching colleagues make retirement decisions based on incomplete information, we decided to build the tool we wished had existed.

We are not a financial services company. We are not trying to sell you an annuity or roll over your TSP into a product that pays us a commission. We are builders who happen to understand federal benefits deeply โ€” and who believe that access to clear, accurate retirement planning guidance should not cost $3,000 and require a two-week wait for an advisor appointment.

FedSage is currently in beta. We are a small team, iterating fast, and genuinely listening to every piece of feedback we receive. If something is wrong, missing, or confusing โ€” we want to know.
